I wonder why we have people fight, kill, struggle to run and win for National Assembly if there is nothing to gain. I believe many of those elected are there for personal gains rather than for service. Little wonder why the parliamentarians of Nigeria jumped the gate of the National Assembly just to have a sitting in order to get their share of the billions.
Many of these people takes politics as a profession, outside politics they don't have what they are doing. They go there, sleep at several sittings, fight if they are being cheated on their share, and defect if the party that fielded them will not guarantee them a place in the next election.
The bilateral system of government should be removed. Can you imagine how much Senator Bukola Saraki, alone is worth. Yet they keep getting richer, keep making rules for the masses to be taxed the more.
The Nigerian NASS has never been about the people but about their profits. A civil servant collects #18000 minimum wage rate, he will pay tax, he has family to be responsible to, yet these politicians will still make laws that will take away almost all part of the salary.
80 billion naira when distributed to over 170 million Nigerians will leave almost all of us a millionaire. Enough of trying to over look the right. Let there be santity in the Nigeria.
Even if all Nigerians sign this petition, I am not sure our President will take a step, neither am I sure the NASS won't silence this movement.
Enough of making poverty increasing policies, enough of tasking my civil servants parent to enrich yourselves, enough of sending your children to Ivy League schools abroad at the expense of funding our local schools, enough of enriching yourselves at the expense of Nigeria masses.
Enough is enough! I call for Unilateral system of government. We need few Law makers not numerous lazy professional politicians.
