Humble appeal to look into the sad incident that occured on 03 April 2022, whereby a daughter of the Baladia village and the daughter in law of Naranpar Village, Vanita N Seghani (Daughter of Karsan Velji Mepani) was found dead in her apartment in Langata Mandir Flats. It is an undetermined death still to be classified as homicide or suicide. 

It has been more than a week that she passed away but till date there has been no proper investigation and no report or police abstract or CCTV footage of the compound has even been shared with the concerned public or family. If it was a suicide was there a case filed under abetment of suicide? 

Some influential people of the committee are trying all their best to brush this under the carpet. Those leaders who promised to create community groups on social media to assist community members are the same who are now as admins deleting comments and posts when questioned. Why is this happening? Who do these leaders fear? Why do they want us to forget her death? Is it that she doesn’t matter because she is from a poor family and her family members are not here? Is there no one who can raise their voice on their behalf?  

If that is the case, then I would like to appeal to all to come together in her support. She was the daughter, mother, sister, wife (unfortunately) who deserves justice and support from everyone.
