Tucker a 2 year old healer mix nipped a lady who uninviting opened our screen door. Tucker stepped out in doing his job protecting two kids who were home alone. It was the mother of one of the girls, who Tucker never meet before. So he was doing his job in defending our home and the girls. 
According to the City of Jefferson Iowa code if they consider him unprovoked he will be declared a vicious animal, which they did. Or options are to find him a home outside the city limits or have him put down. Tucker is not the threat to anyone unless provoked. Please help us fight the city of Jefferson or find tucker a safe home. Please save Tucker.
