Paresh Chattrala, just 42 years of age, took his last breath on April 21,2022. Paresh was cycling back to his house when he was struck by car on Madison Street, Chicago. Police later found out that 30 years old woman was driving while intoxicated, and heroin baggies were found in her car. She tried to take off after hitting Paresh, going several blocks with the Paresh’s bike lodged under her car until witnesses stopped her. She even tried to run away on foot.

Paresh, my brother, was coming to visit his family in India, after a long wait of 8 years. He was excited to eat food cooked by his mother, hug his brother and enjoy his vacation with his cousins. He was excited to lay his head on his mother's lap after a long time and just relax. He wanted to start the process of adopting a kid so he could give a child a love and care that a child deserves. 

Paresh had a big heart. Even in his passing, he gave life to three people through organ donation. He was the sort of person who brighten up any room.

I am seeking justice for my brother beloved brother Paresh. The lady is not charged with killing my brother. According to media she is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for driving without insurance and for her failure to show care to a pedestrian in the roadway.
