Gregor McKelligon started this petition to The Sophomore Class

We the students felt very prepared heading into the physics final. Studying consistently, reviewing topics multiple times to ensure our success, memorizing information, and completing our notecard. As a result of this hard work, we clearly felt up-to-standard with our knowledge over the subject, and were prepared for the final, yet when we walked through the doors and sat down to take the final, we were blindsided by the test’s excessive number of questions. The questions on the test took a substantially increased amount of time compared to what we originally prepared for in class. In turn, this prompted most, if not all, students taking the test to ignore all studying and preparing they had spent so much time on, so they could guess on a vast majority of the problems. Not only this, but several questions contained simple, yet question-altering errors which lead to the confusion of students and a lack of necessary information. In no way is this an attack on our teacher but we believe that the test did not give us a fair ability to succeed. Our physics grades should not be decided by a test we didn’t have enough time to complete to the best of our ability. Sign this petition to help justify our grades and show the outstanding majority of students who associate themselves with this issue.
