Our loved one, who is an American Indian, received health care from a United States Indian Health Service facility, and passed away within 24 hours of leaving the facility. We have come to realize that the federal systems, departments, and organizations put in place to help members of tribes have taken the opposite effect. If you think the Indian Health Service is not upholding its mission that is "to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) to the highest level" or have experienced what you believe to be medical negligence or have not received the highest level of health care through the United States Indian Health Service please sign this petition.
