Justice for my brother

Justice for my brother
Why this petition matters
My brother was travelling to Birmingham with his girlfriend on Saturday the 19th December 2020 . They were stopped by the police as their car ran out of MOT, after given their details to the police they decided to flee from the police while his girlfriend was driving. They stopped the car at the carriage way on the Motorway M74, the police then followed the them but decided not to go further as it was unsafe area, they were called by a lorry driver who saw a girl walking on the carriage way at around 6am two hours after they were stopped by the police. The lorry driver at the same time saw another male walking on the other side of the Motorway. The police then asked the girl where my brother was but she wouldn’t respond. The police came to my house to report him missing on Monday the 21st of December 2020 and later pronounced him death the next day Tuesday the 22nd. I have been demanding for answers but could get any answers as I was told that the PIRC are doing an investigation. I was giving an update every week but no progress. Until the 20th of April 2022 when I was called at the crown office in Glasgow with 2 members of the crown office and the chief investigator for PIRC and his colleague. I was then handed the report and the post-mortem report shows that my brother had sustained so many injuries including internal injuries in his brain and many parts of his body. His girlfriend has also stated on his statement that she had strangled my brother and had used his elbow on my brother’s neck and had left my brother lifeless. The girl has not been charged and I have not got any answers when my brother had those injuries and who was the other male walking on the Motorway at the same time when the girl was found, I also asked why the girl had not been charged despite her statements and I was told by a lady of the crown that I have to speak with the police regarding that. I have been trying to contact that PIRC and they all seems to be avoiding my calls. I want justice for my brother and I need your support in fighting for my brother’s death. Enough of young black boys just died like that
