STOP culling of male calves in Dairy farms in India - Sukanya Kadyan

Click here for Allahabad High Court Judgement on FIR lodged by Naresh Kadyan:

The International Organisation for Animal Protection - OIPA in India Media Adviser Abhishek Kadyan and People for Animals ( PFA ) Haryana Director Ms. Sukanya Kadyan have observed many big dairy farms in India and found the same position, ill treatment with all male calves, these are being killed for profit and personnel gain, where as the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 is totally ineffective to control these kinds of killings due to non-cognizable offenses in legal terms with very minor punishments. No doubt section 12 of the above act is cognizable along with mandatory provisions but it is very complicated to prove that's why only one judgement was found only in  cattle train FIR dated 10-12-2000 lodged with GRP, Faridabad by Naresh Kadyan followed by another FIR against same cattle train dated 28-12-2000 with GRP, Gaziabad but all concerned enforcement agencies are silent and not interested to prosecute the offenders, the Animal Welfare Board of India - AWBI officials are not taking interest in these kinds of cases.
Naresh Kadyan lodged an FIR against the National Dairy Development Institute - NDRI, Karnal for misusing the Oxytocin injection on 16 Murrah buffaloes for lactation, the sting operation was made and telecast by the ND TV and then he moved public interest litigation - PIL in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, this PIL is cine die. The award was given by the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals - CPCSEA removing Naresh Kadyan from its nominee position with out any reasons only to help the offenders. All big animals are auctioned by these Institutions and this practice was controlled by Naresh Kadyan alone and not a single animals was allowed for fistula over there.
The following rules also needs teeth along with amendments in legal status and punishments with out any further delay. Strong legislation and rules are also required for Dairy farms, males calves protection as well. All animals in commercial Dairy farms should be micro chipped, closely monitored by the AWBI or its authorized person vise verse, quarterly reports along with authorized persons integrity should also be evaluated regularly. OIPA in India ready to give full cooperation and support.
