On May 26, 32 year old LAPD officer Houston Tipping was involved in an officer training exercise that led to his death 2 days later.

 

At the time - Houston Tipping was investigating 4 of his LAPD colleagues for gang raping a woman.

 

Shirley Huffman, Houston Tipping’s mother, recently filed a wrongful death suit against the city of Los Angeles for her son’s death.

 

Shirley’s claim states that during this “training exercise” her son’s LAPD colleagues repeatedly struck Houston in the head until he was paralyzed.

• Houston Tipping’s death was not an accident, but most likely a planned attack led by 1 - or all 4 - of Houston Tipping’s LAPD colleagues who were being investigating for the gang rape.

 

• A full-on investigation needs to be done by an impartial party with the goal of this investigation being to reveal the truth surrounding Houston Tipping’s death.

 

• The 4 LAPD police officers that Houston Tipping was investigating for gang rape need to be named.

 

• The investigation of the 4 LAPD officers accused of gang rape needs to continue and be made public.

 

• Shirley Huffman needs to be compensated by the city of Los Angeles for her son’s death.
