On Sunday 06 November 2022 a Xoli Radebe 28 female, was drugged & sexually assaulted by Christopher Gabade 39 Male(perpetrator) in Chiawelo, Soweto. She then proceeded to go through the proceeds of opening a case  nr:106/11/2022 at Moroka police station with Office Joja and Office Ngwane then went to Thuthuzela care centre at Baragwanath hospital to  complete a sexual assault forensic exam. The perpetrator allegedly appeared at Protea Magistrate court on the 09 November 2022 where the perpetrator was granted bail due to DNA material not being submitted to the court however it is said that the charges were dropped due to the Victims statement being inconclusive. It is also alleged that there is footage of the incident however it was not considered. It is Alleged that the perpetrator is a repeat offender and has four (4) other sexual assaults priors. We as Soweto and surrounding areas & communities, the undersigned concerned citizens who urged the court of law to act now. We as the concerned citizens are opposing the courts action because we believe the accused will endanger the safety of the public and the accused can commit a schedule one offence.
