Faith Monreal was a student within Hutto ISD, Williamson County, Texas. On December 12, 2021, her parents were waiting for her phone call to let them know she was ready to be picked up from an overnight stay at the home of a school mate she’s known for years. Both girls know each other’s parents and have visited each other’s homes. The original plan was for them to pick her up at noon, but she had called to ask if she could stay a little longer. Her friend’s parents needed to go somewhere and didn’t want their daughter to be at home alone.   Instead of receiving the call to pick Faith up, they received one that is every parent’s worst nightmare. The Hutto police phoned to tell them she had been shot and they needed to get to the hospital  Fast. They haven’t heard their daughter’s voice since that day. No arrest have been made towards the shooter so this petition was made to show the court how serious the matter is and how the shooter should be held responsible for their actions.
