In a Schizophrenic induced psychosis Andy Gibson Stole 1 Beer from a convenient store, wielding a pocket knife. He would continue outside to be shot 3 times in Kaiser Oregon at a 711 by untrained police officers and sentenced to 20 years, almost 4 of which have been in a state hospital, but is due to go to prison soon. Shortly after this incident,Oregon installed a mental health awareness in the police departments across the state. Grandfather of five, Father of two and loving husband Andy is deeply cared for. Regardless to many request from family to have him admitted, Andy was never given proper treatment from Oregon hospitals, turned away most times. This is a pattern with hospitals around the United States. Our Family members whom suffer from mental illness are dying out there in the street. Luckily Andy Survived his psychotic break, no thanks to untrained police officers and less than standard mental healthcare. It is my wish plea with the powers that be to pardon Andy, to be released  as the state was mostly to blame for his untreated psychological issues. Living with schizophrenia cannot be the defining term of Andy’s life. If the standards remain this way, we potentially sentence every psychotic break everywhere to death or life behind bars. The sentence was harshly given and the near deadly action of the police officers was excessive. How can sending an innocent man (except his psychosis) to prison for the rest of his life logical? Free Andy From Oregon State Hospital Immediately for Home Care! The guy would give you the shirt off his back, very nice man. He never hurt anyone during this incident.
