It is sad to inform and share you all that, a 15 year old girl's dead body hailing from remote village (Bodh Karbu) of Ladakh, was recovered on from the bank of Indus river in Leh on 4th September 2012 in mysterious circumstances. "who was raped at the age of 15 and then murdered" according to her aunt Samstan. Where as the police concerning the evidents declared it as a case of accident.
According to Addl. SP P.Sonam, 'Postmortem report of the victim is coming within a week(though the fact is, its nearing about to a month now) and after that we can decide what we have to do and further investigation will take place.'
But, The District & session Court,Leh on 8th October already accepted bail application of the five accused persons out of seven in the rape case of Lobzang Dolma.
Those whose applications were accepted were Jigmat Namgyal,Tsering Stobgais ,Stanzin Chemet all resident of Ney village and Rigzin Tamchos, Punchok Tsering from Basgo village. The bail amount for each was set at Twenty thousand rupees.
Defence Lawyer Gonbo Stobgyal said, "The whole case is pursued by the state. The five accused are not linked in the rape case and they are granted bail. And section 376 (Punishment for rape) were dropped from the five accused. The bail of the two other accused Tsering Sangrup from Hemis-Shukpachan and Rigzin Nurboo from Ney is rejected by the court. The whole case is based on a statement (hearsay) of a girl who is the prime witness at the time of tradegy."
But its about to two months now without any Justified Statement from the Authorities.
So, in this case, we want to have a clear statement and clean investigation.
We Want to know, why there isnt any clear case and that Bail Grants.
We want to know, why is the Justice Delayed?
JUSTICE DELAYED is JUSTICE DENIED.....
Hope to have some open consideration and have some concern for the young soul....
