In the summer of 2015 i was working on the nexen scott platform in the north sea as a senior pipeline supervisor, one of my legal and moral responsibillities is to have the confidence to stop a job if it becomes dangerous to personnel, the environment or assets, this i did following huge chemical spills to sea and within two hours i was told i was being sent home. I expected my employers to support me as i was legally, morally and duty bound to stop this job however they never supported me and subsequently i was released and blacklisted from working in the north sea. I have started proceedings with the tribunal service but they insist it takes place in scotland even though i do not have the funds to appear in scotland and furthermore my previous employers and there legal representatives are both English registered companies so i believe there is something very odd about the decisions made by the employment tribunals service. I believe i will not get justice or appropriate legal representation if i appear in scotland
