This is a major part of American history that has affected and continuously affects black culture. This days should be recognized because it is a critical component to why America got its successful start - on the backs of our people.

America has yet to acknowledge its role in the Holocaust of Black America. This is the grueling history of America and should be recognized as the greatest humanitarian commemorative Holiday for the many lives that was met by demise at the hands of its founders.

I'm not much for petitions, but it's pretty absurd that Juneteenth isn't a national holiday yet. It's a rare piece of truly worthwhile symbolism.

Juneteenth represents one of the most significant events that occurred in Americas history and must be recognized as such. The enormous work that has been manifested over the decades to bring Juneteenth as a national day of observance must be recognized and rewarded. Doing this would provide another bridge towards bring people together.

Because it is very important that America is recognized as an whole and that the true end of slavery is recognized. This holiday will unite descendants of the Slavery Era of all races. Children should know the true history and this will prove Americans are truly prepared to take the steps against racism and prejudice morals.
