We the people of Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield request that Birmingham City Council provide a pedestrian refuge, to be installed to replace the former Highways control sign on Antrobus Road. 

The previous respite was removed during the Commonwealth Games, to ensure the safety of the Triathlon Athletes competing during the games.  The original crossing point has not yet been replaced.

We request this upgraded and more appropriate respite to ensure the safety of the vast number of local residents, children, parents, the elderly and those with accessibility issues, who regularly cross at this point to access the local High Street.
