Us as muslim students have a set time for a mandatory prayer every Friday. And the time that Valor College Prep has given us is invalid because we are required to do the prayer in between the time set for the Prayers: "Dhuhr" and "Asr" meaning it is safe to have our Friday prayer at 1:00. And we as muslims need that time to pray our mandatory prayer on Fridays. Hopefully this petition gets wide recognition within our school so the school recognizes this and makes room for change InshaAllah.
