I believe Bolivar, Tennessee would greatly benefit from access to public transportation. Citizens without personal means of transportation would have the ability to go to Walmart for groceries instead of being confined to the dollar stores. The citizens would also be able to go to jobs on the farther sides of town. I believe that something as small as just one bus would greatly increase our towns overall health, safety and productivity. To convince our community leaders that we would like to see access to public transportation we need as many signatures as possible. If we are not able to get public transportation, I would like to see improvements to the sidewalks, adding bike lanes, and improving the crosswalks.
