Every day, people are hanged or sentenced to death by the state for a variety of actions, some of which should not be criminalized. In certain nations, it can be used for drug-related charges, but in others, it is only used for terrorism-related crimes and murder. Despite the fact that the death penalty is now largely relegated to a small number of jurisdictions that actively use it, the flaws and failings of capital punishment are more apparent than ever.

We all want a wise and effective criminal justice system that creates a safer society with less crime. Everyone wants to dig into what works and what doesn't, and take a sensible method of enhancing public safety. Putting an end to death penalty allow us to recognition our time, energy and sources on supporting victims and households who were suffering from violence. We want to ensure that every one sufferers are dealt with fairly and respectfully. When you listen the sufferers share their stories with the death penalty, you may locate that actually, everyone is upset with the current system. There is no short and smooth system that is deliberately designed so that an innocent man or woman can't be punished with guilty. Still, the system frequently makes mistakes.

In a democracy, the substance of the legal guidelines is decided via way of means of the people. Even the charter may be modified through the democratic process. Public sentiment may be measured thru polling, however it's also pondered in elections and referenda, both on a local and national level.

"Executing someone because they’ve taken someone’s life is revenge, not justice."

There is no credible evidence that the death penalty is more effective in deterring crime  than imprisonment. In fact, crime from countries banning the death penalty has not increased. It violates the right to life which happens to be the foremost basic of all human rights. It also violates the right not to be subjected to torture and other cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment. Furthermore, the executing undermines human dignity which is inherent to each person. Other brutal methods of execution used around the world include hanging, shooting and beheading. the character of these deaths only continues to perpetuate the cycle of violence and should not alleviate the pain already suffered by the victims’ family.

The death penalty traumatizes everyone; survivors, prosecutors, defense lawyers, prison workers, family members, and anyone else with whom they come into contact. Former security guards, guards, and members of the execution team report the stress of attending executions and the killing of prisoners and the serious damage to their mental and physical health from trauma. You don't have to do that. The death penalty is an old-fashioned, outdated and harmful practice that must be abolished.
