As someone who works with, loves, appreciates, admires, and befriended several children on the Autism Spectrum I am disgusted, shocked, and sick to my stomach with this treatment. I challenge the supporters of this "treatment" to be on the receiving end of these electrodes and see how they feel.

Our mothers taught us not to stick our fingers in electric sockets so why would we want to stick our heads in one? This is insane to do this to children!

Very sad - abuse. I am sure their is other ways to control these children. I am in tears praying this abuse will stop.

My step-brother of only a few years is high functioning Autistic. I can't imagine him being shocked for things that he can't control. It makes me sick to even think about. This should be no practice, no matter what behavior its been used to correct. There are other ways to stop unwanted behavior.

this place has been preying on families who are seeking help for their troubled kids... their radio ads are smooth... slick... they don't produce positive results and they do harm

I am in awe that these types of horrors can still be allowed to happen in facilities we trust to CARE for our disabled!
