Yara Ahmed started this petition to Judge Memorial

A few years ago, Judge stopped allowing students to wear sweatshirts and hoodies on any other day except pride day. However, they still fail to keep the school warm enough that we don't need sweatshirts. Students are finding it tough to be attentive in class while being in such a cold environment.

Allowing students to wear sweatshirts in class won't hurt the student body or image of the school in any way. Students would still be required to wear uniform underneath all sweatshirts. They would also only be allowed to wear things with the Judge logo so that we still look like a united student body.

The sweaters and jackets we are currently allowed to wear are not warm enough to stop students from getting cold. Students have been shivering in their classes. It is currently November 1st. Classes will only get colder from this point on. For these reasons, we need to change our school's dress code to allow us to wear sweatshirts.
