As you know that this verdict shocked America. The law allowed George Zimmerman to murder a unarmed teenager and escape jail time. This was a slap in the face to his parents, his friends and all of his supporters. It was an injustice to America. Now that he has won his murder case, he has the audacity to asks the court (tax payers) to pay his legal fees. The verdict was a travesty. Don't allow him to profit from tax payers in a state where his family resides and allow him to gain financially and create another travesty. We don't know what happened for sure the night that caused this event, but one thing we do know is that George Zimmerman put the events in motion that caused us to be where we are today. We can say that because we all can agree that had he stayed in his car, all of this could have been avoided. With actions comes consequences. If he has created debt that he can't pay, leave that to him because he is responsible. Proverbs 28:19 from the Bible (the English Standard Version) states, "If one is burdened with the blood of another, he will be a fugitive until death; let no one help him." You weren't able to assist in the decision of finding his guilt or innocence in his criminal proceedings, but you do have the power to stop another tragedy from occurring. Please Judge Debra Nelson deny any request for any repayment of fees to George Zimmerman for any debts he may have incurred. The fees of the near 300,000 that are being requested include things such as security, travel and living expenses. The courts are not responsible for that. He is for his actions. I ask that you consider this from a very concerned person regarding this situation and make the right choice. To award him money for murdering Trayvon Martin will indeed be just as devastating as the verdict was.
