Judge Dan Gattermeyer and Hamilton Municipal Court: Give accused Elizabeth Lewis the Maximum Sentence for death of dog

In October 2012, accused Elizabeth Lewis was found not guilty of a cruelty charge, when her dog Bruiser, had been discovered extremely under weight and in horrible condition. There was a decision made that the dog was to remain under her care. Why?

Again, on February 28th, 2013, Hamilton police were called to the apartment building at about 9:30 p.m. for an emaciated dog that appeared to have fallen down the steps. His temperature, so low it did not register, Bruiser was immediately euthanized after being discovered because of his condition.

This was and SHOULD have been avoidable. Had Bruiser not been returned to the care of the accused, this dog would still be living. Instead, he lived out a slow, excruciating death because of a wrong decision.

I am asking you, Hamilton Municipal Court, to do the right thing this time. Give the accussed, Elizabeth Lewis, the MAXIMUM SENTENCE for
death of Bruiser.
