Judge Dyer was we elected on her promise to be a fair and impartial judge.   She oversees the county probation office and the actions of the probation officers ultimately fall on her shpulders.    My son has been railroaded by Sheilah Martin, who is a juvenile probation officer for Garland County.

Ms Martin instructed the school resource officer to harass my son and embarrass him with daily body searches in front of school staff, faculty, and other students - nothing was ever found.    She also instructed the school resource officer to pull over his truck whenever he saw it.   She revoked his probation for charges for which he was not found guilty.  I recorded a meeting I had with her where she threatened me with kidnapping because a friend of my son's had been staying at my house after his legal guardians moved out of state.   With this recording, I went to Kevin Hoffman who is the chef of staff over Ms Martin and he agreed to change his probation officer.     Nevertheless, she was able to slip in another revocation before the court hearing to remove her.    My son is currently serving a 90 day sentence in the Garland County Juvenile Detention Facility.   The Arkansas Juvenile Judicial System is in bad need of overhaul and they need checks and balances.    A spiteful probation officer does not have the right to ruin a child's life.
