Please support this motivation to have speed bumps installed in the bend of Hastings and Lennox streets Waverley. 

We have had numerous incidents where cars travelling at high speeds along the road do not anticipate this bend resulting in accidents where they crash into the walls of houses along this road or hit parked cars of people visiting the park on the north side of the road or crash into pedestrians crossing the road. The most concerning part is that the wall where most of the accidents happen is that of a Medical Clinic where patients are entering or leaving the clinic into the path of these speeding vehicles.

It appears as if passenger cars, delivery vehicles and even taxis use this road extensively  to  divert through this  area so as to avoid the busy Louis Botha avenue.

My family and I have personally experienced near accident incidents when we leave our driveway into this road as one cannot see these speeding vehicles approaching because of the blind bend in the road.
