New Jersey's patients deserve to be treated and cared for in hospitals that have mandated safe nurse patient ratios.  Currently there are no laws regulating how many patients each nurse may care for.  New Jersey Senate bill 1280 was introduced on 2/8/2016 but it has not gained support for a hearing. We need safe patient ratios to ensure that patients are cared for safely.
