I would like to share a problem indian students facing while booking the interview slots for visa in India right now. A lot of students are stuck in this procedure of booking the interview slot and their future is absolutely on risk as they have to face study gap if its not done in time. Students are suffering for slots from months and are paying extra money to touts aswell to book slots for them, as due to low availability of slots it gets full in seconds. As usa embassy's are not able to provide the proper avilable slots for students who have to start their spring session, which for most of the students start by the end of january 2022 and interview dates are available from February 2022 onwards, embassy's should start taking online applications for approving or refusing the visa. A lot of students have requested their universities to extend their start date but universities are helpless in this matter of extending the program start date.

We through this petition want to request hon'ble president of USA and concerned athaurities to waive off the visa interview for all the immediate students who have to start their program in january 2022 and should start documents base process for them. Like they are doing for european region countries and many more.

By doing this atleast they can save  student from going through extreme mental pressure and trauma. Students can atleast hope for some positivity and can save themselves from suffering through future study gap problem.

If Usa government can provide document base visa decisions for some other countries then they can consider this for indian students aswell in this crucial time of pandemic on humanitarian grounds. This will save students future and hectic pressure of their visa officers. Visa processing will be fast and officers can make a lot of decisions in less time by doing this. 

Online file submission doesn't need interviewing officers to be present physically in embassies to make decisions on application.
