Healthcare access in America can be a challenging topic to speak on. About 19% of American Families are not able to afford quality healthcare, according to the United State Census Bureau. Challenges like this leave families to pick between going to the doctors or not providing for their families.
In America, we have different insurance plans in place. Although we have insurance plans, it does not always cover everything leaving people in deep medical debt. Medical debt in America is hard to pay off for some families because of their racial demographic and where they live.
Getting universal healthcare in America might take a while, but it takes us to raise our voices to make the system better.
