The Zimbabwean  society has yet given me another reason to doubt it as I was so hurt to hear the death of a 14 year old girl in The shrine in Manicaland. Firstly,She was sent off to marry some other man at the age of 13.Which means that she spent her whole years trying to be a wife figure and a soon to be mother. Without even considering her education and future they have set their mindsets that girls are married at a very young age-this is pure abuse from both the parents and the rest of the society that watched her live her life like that.Over the years, we have fought against early child marriages and I have learnt that it is still being practiced in churches and some areas.As a 17 year old girl,it is so frustrating to hear of the abuse and injustice made by the society and their beliefs or culture I may say..

To add more to the misery,after the death of Memory Machaya,the parents are preparing to get their younger daughter,who is 9 years of age to the same man who has impregnated and never cared about the loss of Memory Machaya-no medical treatment,no care,no help.Yes I am a teenager and1 I can be a bit immature but when I heard of this i said to myself  I want to be part of the change and I hope that you will also be part of the change as we extend the voice of the voiceless young girls out there who really want our help and are in need for a better tomorrow.I plead with the Government of Zimbabwe, The First Lady and everyone to become the voice of these girls and spread the word..
