Russia has committed aggressive acts against Ukraine and it’s people for personal gain. Attacks have now occurred on civilian buildings and they are taking control of power plants. The US and NATO have issued sanctions in response to these acts which has a profoundly negative impact on the Russian economy.

China is now acting to undermine these sanctions and is supporting Russia and its economy.

We must set the example that those who commit such horrific acts such as those seen in Ukraine and those who support the people responsible for such acts will be held accountable.

While we are not committing troops to this battle, we can as Americans give support by sanctioning those providing assistance to Russia at this time, even if goods are harder to find or are more costly. That would be a small sacrifice for us Americans compared to what the Ukrainian people are going through.

Let’s start strong economic sanctions immediately on China and any other country that is providing support to Russia until such support is stopped.

It is time for the USA to lead, make tough decisions, make sacrifices to benefit the free World, and make a bold stance that we stand against aggressors and those who support them.
