We know that he really cares about immigration, this why we are asking to review the national interest exemption in order to include all au pairs.
We had to give up so many opportunities in our lives, waiting to be part of this cultural exchange program. We are willing to quarantine once we arrive to the US and respect all the rules.
Unfortunately embassies don't print visas due to the travel ban and some of us are reaching the age limit of 26 years old to participate in this program.
This causes difficulties to us and to the families involved with the program that are not able to get a perfect match, just because they don't qualify for the exception.
Many families had issues because of COVID and they need our help even if they don't work in medical services or they don't have special needs children.
Please, let au pairs be in the National Interest Exemption.
We work, we pay taxes and we travel, we contribute to the country's economy.
