I hope to help victims of domestic violence. Not only get away from their abusers. But to be able to hold their abusers accountable, for their actions. Since the beginning of time. Victims are made to feel, it's their fault. For being abused. The abusers have more rights than the victim. There are, way too many, loopholes. For abusers to get away with their behavior. Which makes the victim want to give up. We will not give up. Because it's not ok to abuse someone. Because you are bigger and stronger. The Bible says we should protect and look out for the elderly, women and children. In this world. They are the last ones, anyone cares about. Which is why we remain silent. I am breaking the generational curse. No more being silent and no more being silenced. We need to hold these people accountable for their actions. Let them know. It is not ok and it will not be tolerated. I am a, domestic abuse, survivor. I have been to court for a restraining order. Because of his actions after I was, finally, able to get away. Which he has violated. Multiple times and on multiple occasions. According to court documents. However, I was told, by the judge. He could say, it wasn't me. Nothing can be done. Even after providing proof of his violations and witnesses to court. Why have stipulations in court documents. If they are not going to uphold their own laws. This needs to be fixed. No one should live in fear and have to always watch over their shoulder. Because the laws are broken and are only going to help the criminals stay on the streets. To continue, to harass their victims and make them continue to live in fear. Everyday. For the rest of their natural lives. That is, if the abuser doesn't take their life away from them first.
