Help stop Child Soldiers!

Help stop Child Soldiers!
Children in Africa are taken from their homes when they are very young and forced to become child soldiers.
Many girls are tormented and subjected to rape and child marriages.
The recruitment and use of children is a violation of child rights and international humanitarian law.
UNICEF and other humanitarian organizations support efforts to rescue and reintegrate these children back into their communities.
These children, when abducted, are deprived of food, water, shelter, and education.
There are many ways that we could help but one is government intervention to ensure that counties comply with treaties that were signed into law, to release child soldiers. Government officials need to visit former barracks to ensure that no child was left behind. That all children regardless of age should be released or face penalties and enforce compliance.
I am asking you to support government intervention to ensure that the countries in Africa comply with treaties that were signed into law to release child soldiers.
Imagine if your child was taken away from your family. Your kid was forced to go fight in wars with guns. Your kid does not have enough food, water, shelter, or even if there was it was not a good source. I would assume that you would never want your child to go through something like this. So why would you let someone else kids go through this? There are ways you can help and this is just one. By signing this petition and writing a letter to one of your senators, representatives, or your president you can help so many kids in need of help.
