Pay transparency starts now 

Today, women who work full time, year-round are paid, on average, only 82 cents
for every dollar paid to men, resulting in a gap of $10,157 each year (U.S. Census Bureau (2020). Men and women should be making the same amount of pay for the same job. Wage transparency is just the start of the wage gap issue but will allow women to advocate for fair pay. The Equal Pay Act was brought out in 1963, but made no substantial impact to the gender pay gap for 50 years. Corporations need to start reporting on wages on a quarterly basis with data specifically on gender.
