The people of Cuba had the courage to protest against the tyrannical regime which has destroyed the country and suppressed freedom for the last 62 years.  They knew of the consequences and/or repercussions protests could bring, yet they still came out in force all over the island. 

Sanctions to a select few will not make a difference or create a path to end the Communist rule of the island.  The so-called embargo of many years has not yielded any results, why would a handful of sanctions make a difference.  The Castro regime appropriated the farmland for what, they didn't do anything with them which they could have used to feed their people.  Cuba could produce a good majority of their food, but it doesn't the Communist prefer their people to starve. 

I ask the leaders of the Democratic World to unite and finally rid Communism from Cuba. Isn't 62 years of dictatorship long enough?  The U.S. failed the people of Cuba with the Bay of Pigs invasion, it's time to make it right!  Don't let these people down, the countries of the Freeworld cannot stand by and let the people of this country suffer.
