The National Student Debt Crisis has reached nearly $1,851,574,266,544. There are students who graduated 30+ years ago and are still trying to get over their debt and pay it off, but many are struggling. As a College student, I refuse to sit back and watch people suffer. For past, present, and future students, there needs to be change. Even if our government were to forgive $50k of student loan debt per person, it diminishes the crisis amount to much less than it is now. We need to do this together! By receiving enough signatures for this petition, we may be able to be heard and have our demand to cancel 50,000 in student loan debt per person across the country!
