Many of us were excited about returning to school but we all had questions about what the school would do to protect students and staff from COVID. We started off with strong regulations such as not drinking out of water fountains, providing water bottles, masks, and tissues. But I believe once the district found out how costly all this was they discontinued these precautions.  Many of us were forced to miss out on our last football games, dances, and rallies that we all look forward to. 

Currently the new variant of COVID is causing new cases to constantly pop up around the school district. Many students and staff have been forced to go into quarantine and are being exposed everyday. This is causing many students to have to go into a packed auditorium to be babysitted due to the shortage on teachers and subs. This is making people increasingly afraid of COVID. We are in need of more space and room especially with the new Omicron variant and if the school is not equipped to support these regulations we should go back to partially on line at least. The more time we wait the more of a chance the students and staff could get covid or even the new variant. And if you agree sign the petition to try to get the school to shutdown and go online.
