I am from the Main Line and such buildings enrich the area, enhance surrounding property values (along with tax assessments) and are irreplaceable. It makes good sense to protect and enhance (restore).
I can't believe in this day and age people are so insensitive and backward thinking as to contemplate demolishing any more of our historic buildings. They are what gives a place its character, soul, spirit and as such are a real economic driver for the attraction and marketing for an area. Please! Stop the demolition!
There are enough CVSs along Lancaster Ave. from Wayne to Paoli. If another CVS is desired, they can still have a large store minus the 2% or so real estate that the Inn encompasses. Perhaps the Inn could be a wing handling CVSs non-drug merchandise.
