Suburbanite covers RDT advocate Chris Steffner Presentation to the BOE

Aug 29, 2013 — The article is fair, but fails to capture how STRONGLY the opponents of the policy were in objecting to Steffner's many misrepresentations. One questioner confronted the BOE with info about the way pharmaceutical giant Roche helped pay to bring RDT to Steffner's high school. The evening ended on a particularly chilling note. When asked if the board would guarantee that there would be NO RETRIBUTION against faculty, staff and administrators on the RDT Policy Committee, the board attorney intervened and said that the board would not answer the question. Apparently this controversial policy is more important continuing the school's unbroken tradition of excellent leadership.
