Philly Nation started this petition to John S. Middleton

In 2015, Matt Klentak was hired as general manager to structure a rebuild for the Philadelphia Phillies to return to their excellence with the help of Andrew MacPhail. MacPhail was hired in 2016 as President of Baseball Operations.

Now, after year five the Phillies have yet to reach the playoffs, even with the expansion of playoffs put into effect where 53% of the league makes it into the race. That's with the Phillies having the 5th highest payroll in baseball. It's embarrassing when you think about the team having a lead in 49 of the 60 games this season to end up with only 28 wins.

After the third September collapse to happen in a row it's time we look for a change. A change that should've happened last October, but I'll let that rest for the greater good.

Philadelphia deserves better. Philadelphia is demanding better. And Philadelphia wants a change.

It's time, John Middleton. Fire Matt Klentak. Fire Andrew MacPhail.
