Objection to Active Travel Scheme being implemented on the Hersham By-Pass A244

I'm signing because Two lanes should be available to motorists doing essential journeys whereas most bicycle riders appear to be merely exercising. And because there is room for both motorised vehicles and bicycles without having to reduce the number of lanes for motorised vehicles to one. As a motorist I pay Road Tax to use the roads, something which leisure cyclists do not pay. I therefore have more right to use the road. And if I should ignore a traffic light at red, my vehicle can be identified from its REGISTRATION PLATE, something which cannot (yet) be done of a bicycle, even though there is More need for that. .
