Dismiss an order of removal for an African husband, father, homeowner and business owner.
Why this petition matters

I am an African immigrant living in Alabama with an order of removal hanging over me for several years. I have an African-American wife, three children who are all American Citizens, my wife and I own a home and a business. I spent 1 year in ICE detention when I was detained after a traffic stop for a tail light that was out. I was released with an order of removal and that was years ago. All I want to do is have legal status so I can go see my elderly mother in Africa while she’s still here. She recently had a stroke and if I left to see her, I would be making the choice to not return to my wife and children. Nobody should have to choose one over the other. I am appealing to have the order of removal removed and grant me a path to legal status here in the US.
I have not committed any crime except coming to the US illegally. I have been a law abiding member of society since I have been in the US. I am an essential worker, my wife is an upstanding American citizen, all my three children make all A’s in school, I pay my taxes, I even donate to worthy causes. Finally, I’ve decided that I am a worthy cause. I deserve to be here, I’ve earned my way and it was not easy. I just want to live life peacefully, be able to visit my mother in Africa, and sleep well knowing that I don’t have an order of removal hanging over me. I would appreciate your support by signing my petition. I appreciate you for taking time to read my plea.
