On June 23, Julius Cummings, a 16 year old black teen, was peacefully playing basketball in the park. While playing, 2 young white teenagers came and started a ruckus, called him the N-word and then stabbed Julius 5 times. One of the white teens admitted to stabbing Julius and has been released. Julius ended up suffering from a collapsed lung and luckily survived. They are still “investigating” the case yet, there shouldn’t be an investigation in the first place. This assault clearly happened because Julius is a young black male. I truly want to raise awareness for this situation. I don’t want this to be a forgotten case. This will not rest, this I can assure.
