Zamiree Britt started this petition to John Kevin Stitt

The passing of House Bill 1775 restricts schools and universities from teaching students key aspects of race and racism and how it has affected Oklahoma history. This bill not only blurs important events that have been previously taught in OK schools learning curriculum, but it also hides vital knowledge on Oklahoma History as a whole. The passing of this bill reveals the saddening truth on who our state gov. wants to protect the most. Trying to get as many public school students, having the governor see this petition and veto the bill and not having history dismissed for our kids kids to know where they came from and other races to know what happened to their ancestors
