Since opening in 1956, the Vancouver Aquarium has connected more than 40 million people from around the world to our oceans and inspired them to be responsible and take action to minimize their impact on our Oceans. Located in Stanley Park in Vancouver, the Aquarium is home to thousands of incredible species. It’s also the Ocean Wise Conservation Association headquarters, where scientists, educators and conservation experts do much of their work.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vancouver Aquarium is fighting for its survival. Until it is able to resume normal operations and welcome visitors from around the world, this facility and Ocean Wise's conservation programs may cease to exist. Without programs or more funding to make up for the lack of ticket sales, the Aquarium may close its doors for good and thousands of marine species may lose their homes.

Recognizing that the Aquarium is in desperate need of help, we want to bring the world together to raise awareness for this incredibly important cause. To do this, we're throwing an online festival - "Ocean Meets Music" in hopes to bring artists, influencers and fans together to save the Vancouver Aquarium. You can learn more about the digital festival and RSVP at oceanmeetsmusic.com.
