Please help sign this petition to tell Premier of British Columbia (John Joseph Horgan), Minister of Health of British Columbia (Adrian Dix), HEABC (Health Employers Association of BC), and MLAs that HEU members should get the 2004 15% pay rate cut reversed and their annual inflation increase should match the Health Authorities' excluded employees! All the HEU (Hospital Employees' Union) members had a 15% pay rate cut back in 2004 when other unions didn't have any.  It is time to reverse that for these hard-working HEU members who are helping us all surviving this pandemic! We have an aging population; thus, the demand on our health care system is ever increasing and these HEU members’ workload is ever more heavier. Many HEU members are making barely enough money to buy food, pay for rent, pay car payments, and pay phone bills. They need to be compensated with fair living wages for the good work that they do!  The Health Authorities' excluded employees are getting a 2.85% inflation wage increase each year when HEU members are only getting a 2% inflation wage increase; we all live in the same society and experience inflation the same way; therefore, we shouldn't be having a different rate for HEU members. We need to make changes here! Please help sign the petition!
