The state of Brunei has implemented the punishment of death by stoning for homosexual relations. By continuing to allow flights to and from Brunei from Heathrow Airport suggests that the lives of LGBT+ people are worth less than the money made by air travel between Heathrow and Brunei International Airport.

By refusing to accept direct flights from Brunei, will send a message that private companies in the UK are not prepared to see people put to death for their sexual orientation.

Discontinue direct flights to Brunei and refuse to do future business with Royal Brunei Airlines.

As a married gay man in Wales, UK, I have protections under equality legislation. If living in Brunei, my husband and I wouldn’t be married. We would also be likely put to death for the crime of being our whole selves.

It cannot be right for anyone to live in fear of being murdered by the state for being a member of the LGBT+ Community.
