Keep Fields in Arlington’s Future – Tell the County Board that Arlingtonians Need Fields!

The Arlington County Board will be voting this spring to adopt a new Public Spaces Master Plan to guide how Arlington can best meet demands for fields, parks, trails, and natural spaces. Our population is growing and competition for limited public land is increasing. The County’s plan calls for solutions to rapid growth that will maximize existing field space by adding lighting and converting more fields to synthetic turf, and to the extent possible, by adding new fields.
Tell the Arlington County Board that sports fields are important and that providing adequate field space must be a part of Arlington's future. Tell Board Members that Arlington’s sports participants favor solutions that increase field availability, maximize usage of existing fields, and enable our community to manage the growing popularity of all outdoor activities.
