Why this petition matters

Started by Christopher Wylie

In an act that cannot be described in any way other than purely tyrannical, OH Gov. Mike Dewine has ordered all indoor sporting events in the state to be closed to general public (who payed for their tickets).  This is due to fears of spreading Coronavirus.  Those fears are unwarranted & overblown by people like Gov. Dewine as well as the national news media.  There are countless facts to back up that statement.

Opening Day in Cincinnati is the greatest day of the year for numerous people.  Closing off the game to the general public (again, who payed their hard earned dollars) would do irreparable damage to baseball, the Cincinnati Reds, and fans of the game of baseball.

This petition is to request that Governor Dewine, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, the Cincinnati Reds organization, & Cincinnati City Council let Opening Day and the parade go on as originally planned.  Do the right thing & put an end to the senseless fear mongering.  Thank you.
