It pretty self-explanatory: too often our resources are more into sensationalizing news rather than just reporting. It is really tragic that a profession claiming to base their process on attempting to remain unbiased while sharing events covered with the public but choosing to let it be twisted before it is released to the public. Shameful, really.

WCPO 9 seems to have an agenda in regards to poor reporting. My mother always told me..."If you can't say anything nice...don't say anything at all!" Channel 9...keep it shut!

Sonny Kim was shot by a guy who faked a 911 call, because he wanted to commit suicide by cop, and figured calling 911 and getting into a shootout with cops would be the perfect way to commit suicide. Our local newspaper has given more press to the killer's father, wanting to portray his son as a good son who is the victim in the situation, than it has given to either Sonny Kim or his family. I didn't watch Channel 9 News before that incident, and I definitely won't watch it now.

I disagree with their reasoning for showing the Sonny Kim dash-cam video, and I thought it was classless to go to the slain officer's home for a news story the day of his killing, apology or not.

Just because you have the right to First Amendment free-speech does not mean you have to exercise it. It also does not excuse you from the moral right to think and do what's right.
